Decadent homemade pudding made with simple ingredients like milk, butter, sugar, cornstarch, and vanilla extract. Irresistibly delicious dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups milk
  • 3 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon butter
Instructions:
  • In a medium saucepan, gently heat the milk over medium heat until small bubbles start to form at the edges.
  • Combine sugar, cornstarch, and salt in a small bowl.
  • Slowly combine the sugar, cornstarch, and salt mixture into the hot milk, stirring constantly until the mixture thickens enough to coat the back of a spoon.
  • Take the saucepan off the heat, and fold in the vanilla and butter.
  • Divide the pudding evenly among 5 serving dishes. Refrigerate the pudding for optimal flavor before serving.
