Whip up a delicious Honey Mustard Salmon in just 20 minutes with 6 simple ingredients. Bake in the oven and enjoy hands-free cooking while you prepare a quick and easy side dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1 1/2 to 2 pounds (680 to 900g) salmon fillets
  • 3 tablespoons honey mustard (1 1/2 tablespoons honey plus 1 1/2 tablespoon Dijon mustard)
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced (about 3 teaspoons)
  • 3 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil (divided into 2 tablespoons and 1 tablespoon)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh dill
  • Pinch of salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 400°F.
  • Prepare the honey-mustard glaze by whisking together honey mustard, garlic, 2 tablespoons olive oil, lemon juice, dill, and salt in a small bowl.
  • Prepare the salmon: Cover a roasting pan with aluminum foil and brush both sides of the salmon fillets with olive oil. Arrange the fillets skin-side down in the pan. Brush the top of the fillets with the honey mustard mixture using a basting brush.
  • Prepare perfectly cooked salmon: Roast at 400°F for 8 to 10 minutes until just cooked through. Keep in mind that slightly rare in the center is ideal; resting outside the oven will complete the cooking process. Remember not to overcook!
