Juicy chicken drumsticks glazed with honey and orange, perfect for parties.
Ingredients:
  • 8 large chicken legs
  • 1 tablespoon salt
  • 1 cup honey
  • 1 cup orange juice with pulp
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter, at room temperature
  • 7 sprigs fresh rosemary, finely chopped
  • 2 oranges, zested
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Season the chicken generously with salt and place it in a spacious glass or plastic bowl.
  • Combine honey, orange juice with pulp, butter, fresh rosemary, orange zest, garlic, and pepper in a bowl. Pour the flavorful orange mixture over the chicken, then cover and refrigerate for 1 hour up to overnight.
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) for the perfect bake.
  • Lay the chicken out evenly in a roasting pan and drizzle the orange mixture over the chicken.
  • Place chicken in the oven, baste with pan juices, and lower the temperature to 325 degrees F (160 degrees C). Baste every 20 minutes, cooking until chicken is deep orange-brown, fully cooked, and juices run clear, approximately 90 minutes. Ensure meat reaches at least 165 degrees F (74 degrees C) when using an instant-read thermometer.
