Indulgent hot buttered rum punch made with dark rum, brown sugar, pineapple juice, and cranberry sauce, simmered to perfection in a slow cooker.
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups pineapple juice
  • 2 (16 ounce) cans jellied cranberry sauce
  • 1 cup dark rum, or to taste
  • 0.75 teaspoon ground cloves
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground allspice
  • 10 cinnamon sticks
  • 5 teaspoons butter, or to taste
Instructions:
  • In a slow cooker, mix together pineapple juice, water, cranberry sauce, rum, brown sugar, cloves, salt, nutmeg, and allspice, using a fork to break apart the cranberry sauce.
  • Slow cook for 3 to 4 hours on low heat.
  • Pour the punch into mugs, then garnish each with a cinnamon stick and a sprinkle of approximately 1/2 teaspoon of butter.
