Delicious hot crab dip in bread bowl - perfect for entertaining!
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1.5 cups milk
  • 1 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 (6 ounce) can crab meat, drained
  • 0.125 teaspoon Old Bay Seasoning TM, or to taste
  • 1 (1 pound) loaf French bread
  • 1 cup shredded white Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • In a bowl, blend cream cheese, milk, mayonnaise, horseradish, crab meat, and Old Bay Seasoning ™ until smooth. Transfer mixture to an 8x12 inch baking dish and bake at 350°F (175°C) for 35-40 minutes until golden brown.
  • Create a circular opening at the top of the bread and gently remove the inner part. Tear the inside into pieces for dipping.
  • Scoop out the mixture from the oven and fill the hollowed bread. Top it with shredded cheese and more seasoning. Place the bread bowl on a baking sheet, and bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes or until the cheese melts. Serve hot with bread pieces on the side.
