Instant Pot chicken wings with a delicious blend of BBQ sauce, butter, and hot sauce for a sweet and spicy kick.
Ingredients:
  • 4 pounds chicken wings, tips removed and sections separated
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning, or to taste
  • 0.5 cup cold water
  • nonstick cooking spray
  • 0.5 cup hot pepper sauce (such as Frank's RedHot®)
  • 0.25 cup barbeque sauce
  • 0.25 cup melted butter
Instructions:
  • Dry the wings thoroughly and transfer them to a medium bowl. Sprinkle Cajun seasoning over the wings and toss until evenly coated.
  • In the multi-functional pressure cooker, layer a trivet followed by the seasoned wings. Surround the wings with 1/2 cup of cold water.
  • Lock the lid and activate the Sealing function. Set to high pressure following manufacturer's instructions, then set timer for 5 minutes. Allow pressure to build for 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Preheat your oven to high broil and position the oven rack one level above the center. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a cooling rack on top. Spray the rack with nonstick cooking spray and set it aside as you cook the wings.
  • After cooking the wings in the pressure cooker, allow to naturally release pressure for 10 minutes, then switch the knob to Venting to release any remaining steam. Unlock and remove the lid.
  • In a bowl, mix hot sauce, barbeque sauce, and melted butter. Coat the wings in half of the sauce mixture and toss well to ensure even coverage. Transfer the wings to a wire rack and bake in the oven.
  • Broil the wings with the oven door slightly ajar until crispy, 5 to 10 minutes per side. Consider rotating the sheet halfway through for even cooking.
  • Place the wings in a bowl, drizzle the remaining sauce over them, and mix well to ensure they are coated evenly. Serve hot and enjoy!
