Irresistible pecan pie that's simply addictive.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 0.5 cup butter, chilled
  • 4 tablespoons ice water
  • 3 eggs, beaten
  • 0.75 cup light corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons dark corn syrup
  • 0.75 cup light brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 0.5 cup pecans, finely crushed
  • 1 cup pecans, quartered
  • 1 cup pecan halves
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • Prepare the crust by mixing flour, salt, and white sugar in a bowl. Add butter and blend into coarse crumbs. Slowly add water while stirring until the dough comes together into a ball.
  • Flatten the dough ball on a floured surface with a rolling pin into a circle slightly larger than the pie dish. Gently place the pie shell into the dish and refrigerate while preparing the pie filling.
  • Prepare the Pie Filling: Combine eggs, light and dark corn syrups, brown sugar, butter, salt, and finely crushed pecans in a medium bowl. Spread quartered pecans on the bottom of the refrigerated pie crust. Pour the syrup mixture over the pecans and top the pie with pecan halves for a beautiful finish.
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C), then bake for one hour or until firm. Allow to cool for one hour before serving.
