Ingredients:
  • 80g butter
  • 70.95 gm caster sugar
  • 41.20 gm milk
  • 2.20 gm vanilla essence
  • 150.00 gm self-raising flour
  • 42.90 gm custard powder
  • Jam, to serve
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 180C and prepare 2 trays by lining them with baking paper.
  • In a mixing bowl, cream together the butter and sugar until light and creamy. Beat in the milk and vanilla. Then, mix in the flour and custard powder until a soft dough forms.
  • Form 2 teaspoon-sized balls and place them on the tray. Use your thumb to create a hole in the center of each ball and fill it with jam.
  • Bake until golden brown, approximately 15 minutes.
