Savory Japanese lamb skewers with crispy noodle slaw - a fast and delicious meal.
Ingredients:
  • 600g lamb leg steaks, cut into 3cm cubes
  • 125.00 ml Japanese Barbecue Sweet Katsu Style marinade
  • 1 large green capsicum, cut into 2cm pieces
  • 500.00 ml finely shredded Chinese cabbage (wombok)
  • 100g snow peas, trimmed, thinly sliced
  • 250.00 ml bean sprouts, trimmed
  • 100g packet crunchy noodles
  • 2 green onions, thinly sliced diagonally
  • 20.00 ml sesame oil
  • 65.63 gm lime juice
  • Lime wedges, to serve
Instructions:
  • Mix the lamb with the marinade in a shallow glass or ceramic dish. Cover and refrigerate overnight, if possible.
  • Skewer lamb and capsicum, then place them on a baking tray. Preheat the oven to medium-high heat. Grill skewers for 8 minutes for medium doneness or adjust to your preference. Transfer to a plate, loosely cover with foil, and let them rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Mix together cabbage, snow peas, bean sprouts, noodles, green onion, oil, and juice in a large bowl. Serve with skewers, slaw, and lime wedges.
