Tender pulled pork sandwiches made with juicy pork chops smothered in a flavorful BBQ sauce.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (18 ounce) bottle hickory flavored barbeque sauce
  • 1 (16 ounce) package fresh mushrooms
  • 1 (14.5 ounce) can stewed tomatoes
  • 2 large onions, coarsely chopped
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 0.5 head garlic, peeled
  • 2 tablespoons malt vinegar
  • 1 pinch salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 0.25 cup water, if needed
  • 2 pounds pork chops
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) for the perfect cooking temperature.
  • In a food processor or blender, blend barbeque sauce, mushrooms, tomatoes, onion, brown sugar, garlic, vinegar, salt, and black pepper until chunky. Add water if needed to adjust thickness.
  • Place the pork chops in a baking dish and generously coat them with a flavorful barbecue sauce mixture, then cover the dish with aluminum foil.
  • Roast in the oven until the pork is melt-in-your-mouth tender for about 3 hours. Use 2 forks to shred the pork.
