Transform plain or flavored kefir into irresistible pancakes for a flavorful and fluffy breakfast treat.
Ingredients:
  • 1.75 cups all-purpose flour
  • 2 teaspoons white sugar
  • 1.5 teaspoons baking powder
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups kefir
  • 4 ounces chocolate chips, or more to taste
Instructions:
  • Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt in a large bowl. Mix in kefir and eggs until batter is moist but still lumpy. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  • Preheat a lightly oiled griddle over medium-high heat. Spoon large dollops of batter onto the griddle and cook until bubbles form and edges dry out, about 3 to 4 minutes. Flip and cook until the other side turns golden, approximately 2 to 3 minutes. Repeat with the remaining batter.
