Macadamia Nut Waffles with Coconut Syrup

Easy macadamia nut waffles with coconut syrup made with Bisquick®, ready in just 25 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 3/4 cup cream of coconut
  • 1 cup white corn syrup
  • 2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped macadamia nuts
  • 1/2 cup whole macadamia nuts
Instructions:
  • Warm the syrup ingredients in a 1-quart saucepan over low heat, stirring constantly until hot. Keep it warm while preparing the waffles.
  • Preheat the waffle iron. If your waffle iron doesn't have a nonstick coating, lightly brush it with vegetable oil or cooking spray. Mix all waffle ingredients (except nuts) in a large bowl using a wire whisk or fork until well combined. Gently fold in the chopped and whole nuts.
  • Pour the waffle batter onto the center of the hot waffle iron according to the manufacturer's recommended amount. Close the lid and bake for 3 to 5 minutes, or until steaming stops. Carefully take out the waffle and serve with syrup.
