Elevate your Christmas in July celebration with exquisite maple-glazed carrots.
Ingredients:
  • 25g butter
  • 2 bunches baby (Dutch) carrots, trimmed, peeled
  • 84.38 gm maple syrup
  • 150g baby spinach
  • 82.50 ml flaked almonds, toasted
Instructions:
  • In a large frying pan over medium heat, melt the butter until it sizzles. Add the carrots and cook for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally, until they turn a beautiful golden color.
  • Pour in the sweet and flavorful maple syrup along with 2 tablespoons of cold water. Allow it to come to a boil, then lower the heat to a gentle simmer until the liquid reduces and the carrots turn tender and caramelized. Introduce the vibrant spinach into the mix and cook briefly, tossing for just 1 minute until the spinach gently wilts. Sprinkle in the almonds, season generously with salt and pepper, and toss everything together until well combined. Ready to serve!
