Whip up a tasty flat iron steak marinade with honey, balsamic vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire, garlic, and herbs/spices for a delicious dish.
Ingredients:
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 3 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried tarragon
  • 0.5 teaspoon dried rosemary, crushed
  • 0.5 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.5 teaspoon white pepper
  • 1 pinch salt
  • 1.5 pounds flat iron steak
Instructions:
  • Combine honey, vinegar, olive oil, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, tarragon, rosemary, garlic powder, white pepper, and salt in a large bowl, stirring until fully mixed. Transfer the marinade to a resealable plastic bag. Add flat iron steak, ensuring it's fully coated, then remove excess air and seal the bag. Refrigerate for a minimum of 6 hours to marinate.
  • Heat up your outdoor grill until it reaches a medium-high temperature and lightly oil the grate.
  • Pat the steak dry, then grill to your liking, about 4 minutes per side for medium-rare. The internal temperature should reach 140°F (60°C).
