Ingredients:
  • 2 small rutabagas, peeled and cubed
  • 0.5 cup milk
  • 0.25 cup buttermilk
  • 1 pinch ground cinnamon
  • coarse salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • In a big pot of salted water, cook rutabagas until tender, about 15 to 20 minutes. Drain and return to the pot to keep warm.
  • Combine mashed rutabagas with milk, buttermilk, and cinnamon. Use an electric mixer to whip until smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
