Elevate traditional meatloaf with a flavorful stuffing twist, topped with creamy mushroom soup for a festive holiday dish.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds beef, veal, and pork meatloaf meat mix
  • 2 green apples - peeled, cored, and diced
  • 1 small white onion, diced
  • 1 cup herb-seasoned stuffing mix (such as Pepperidge Farm® Herb-Seasoned Stuffing), crushed
  • 3 stalks celery, diced
  • 0.25 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 0.75 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can cream of mushroom soup
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a deliciously warm 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  • Combine meatloaf meat, apples, onion, stuffing mix, celery, milk, water, eggs, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper in a bowl, mixing until evenly incorporated.
  • Evenly spread cream of mushroom soup in a 9x5-inch loaf pan. Spoon in meat mixture and carefully flatten the top with a spatula.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 1 1/2 hours until fully cooked. Use an instant-read thermometer to ensure the center reaches at least 160 degrees F (70 degrees C). Let it cool in the pan for 5 to 10 minutes before serving.
  • Invert the meatloaf pan onto a serving platter to showcase the creamy mushroom soup on top of the loaf.
