Decades-old recipe for ultra-creamy fudge. Perfect for gifting in a vintage tin.
Ingredients:
  • 4.5 cups white sugar
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 (12 fluid ounce) can evaporated milk
  • 2 cups chopped nuts
  • 1 (12 ounce) package semisweet chocolate chips
  • 12 (1 ounce) squares German sweet chocolate
  • 2 cups marshmallow creme
Instructions:
  • Grease two 9x9 inch baking pans with butter and set them aside.
  • Combine chocolate chips, German chocolate, marshmallow creme, and nuts in a large mixing bowl. Set aside.
  • In a 4 quart saucepan, mix together sugar, salt, butter, and evaporated milk over low heat until the sugar dissolves. Increase heat and boil for 6 minutes.
  • Drizzle hot syrup over ingredients, whisk until chocolate is melted. Transfer into pans and allow to set for a few hours before slicing.
