Indulgent layers of spaghetti, savory beef sauce, and gooey cheese create the irresistible Million Dollar Spaghetti casserole.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package spaghetti
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 (16 ounce) jar spaghetti sauce
  • 0.5 cup butter, sliced - divided
  • 1 (8 ounce) container cottage cheese
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 0.25 cup sour cream
  • 1 (8 ounce) package shredded sharp Cheddar cheese
Instructions:
  • Assemble all ingredients and heat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
  • 1. Boil a pot of lightly salted water. 2. Cook spaghetti until al dente, about 8 to 12 minutes. 3. Drain spaghetti.
  • As the pasta cooks, heat a large skillet over medium-high heat. Brown and crumble the beef in the skillet for 5 to 7 minutes until cooked through; then discard any excess grease.
  • Combine in a bowl with spaghetti sauce.
  • Layer half of the butter slices on the bottom of a 9x13-inch casserole dish, then evenly spread half of the spaghetti on top.
  • Combine creamy cottage cheese, rich cream cheese, and tangy sour cream in a bowl; then, generously spread the delectable mixture over the bed of spaghetti.
  • Spread the remaining spaghetti evenly over the dish and dot the top with the rest of the butter slices.
  • Spread the flavorful ground beef mixture evenly over the bed of spaghetti.
  • After baking for 30 minutes, generously sprinkle Cheddar cheese on top and bake for an additional 15 minutes until the cheese is melted and golden brown.
  • Savor every mouthful of your delicious creation!
