Easy apple pie spice sugar biscuits made with refrigerated dough.
Ingredients:
  • 1 teaspoon apple pie spice
  • 0.25 cup white sugar
  • 1 (12 ounce) can refrigerated biscuit dough, separated and cut into six pieces
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon water
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and prepare 6 muffin cups by either buttering them or lining with paper muffin liners.
  • Mix the apple pie spice and white sugar in a small bowl, then toss the biscuit pieces in the mixture until coated. Distribute the coated pieces evenly among the muffin cups.
  • In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt together the brown sugar, butter, and water until it comes to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil for 2 to 3 minutes until the sugar is fully dissolved. Drizzle the mixture over the biscuit pieces.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden and the tops spring back when lightly pressed, for 8 to 12 minutes.
