Cheesy mostaccioli bake with beef, tomatoes, and mozzarella - served with crusty bread and a side salad. Delicious dinner!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 (16 ounce) package mostaccioli pasta
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 1 clove garlic, chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon seasoned salt, or to taste
  • 1 (24 ounce) jar cheese pasta sauce
  • 1 (15 ounce) can diced tomatoes
  • 4 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 325 degrees F (165 degrees C) and generously coat a 9x13-inch glass baking dish with cooking spray.
  • Bring a pot of salted water to a vigorous boil. Add pasta and cook until al dente, stirring occasionally, for about 10 minutes.
  • Brown ground beef, onion, and garlic in a large skillet over medium-high heat until beef is crumbly and browned, about 5-7 minutes. Season with seasoned salt while cooking and drain excess grease.
  • Drain the pasta and combine it with the beef mixture, pasta sauce, and diced tomatoes. Stir in 3 cups of gooey mozzarella cheese until everything is mixed thoroughly. Transfer the mixture to the baking dish, smooth out the top using a spoon, and sprinkle the remaining 1 cup of mozzarella on top. Bake until golden and bubbly.
  • Bake in the oven until the top is golden brown and bubbly, for about 30 to 40 minutes.
