Quick and easy mushroom steak sauce ready in 30 minutes, enhances any cut of steak.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons extra-virgin olive oil, or more to taste
  • 1.5 cups sliced fresh mushrooms
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 stick butter
  • 1 tablespoon steak sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
Instructions:
  • Preheat a large skillet over medium heat, then drizzle in olive oil. Sauté mushrooms and onions until soft, for 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in butter, steak sauce, and Worcestershire, cooking until butter melts, around 2 minutes.
  • Lower the heat to a gentle simmer and cook uncovered until everything is wonderfully tender, for about 15 to 20 minutes. Season generously with salt and pepper. Serve hot over your favorite cut of steak.
