Indulgent Nutella® brownies infused with hazelnut liqueur.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup butter
  • 0.25 cup hazelnut liqueur (such as Frangelico®)
  • 0.25 cup chocolate-hazelnut spread (such as Nutella®), or more to taste
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour, sifted
  • 0.5 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 0.66666668653488 cup white sugar
  • 0.33333334326744 cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 0.5 cup semisweet chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 375 degrees F (190 degrees C) and prep your 8-inch square baking pan by greasing it or lining it with parchment paper.
  • Combine butter, hazelnut liqueur, and chocolate-hazelnut spread in a small saucepan over medium heat. Stir occasionally until mixture starts to bubble, approximately 5 minutes. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  • Combine flour, cocoa powder, and salt in a bowl and whisk until well mixed.
  • In a large bowl, use an electric mixer to beat white sugar, brown sugar, eggs, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy. Slowly incorporate the butter mixture until smooth. Gently mix in the flour mixture until just combined; fold in chocolate chips if desired. Transfer the batter into the prepared pan.
  • Bake in a preheated oven until the top is dry, edges pull away from the sides, for 20 to 25 minutes. Let the brownies cool in the pan for at least 2 hours before cutting.
