Whip up quick and delicious Bisquick oat pancakes topped with banana-nut syrup for a satisfying breakfast in just 30 minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup maple-flavored syrup
  • 2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1/2 cup old-fashioned or quick-cooking oats
  • 2 tablespoons packed brown sugar
  • 1 1/4 cups milk
  • 2 eggs
Instructions:
  • In a 1 1/2-quart saucepan, melt butter over medium heat until it glistens and sizzles. Toss walnuts into the bubbling butter and cook, stirring occasionally, until they turn golden and fragrant. Add in the bananas, gently coat them in the butter, then pour in the syrup. Lower the heat and simmer gently until everything is warmed through. Remove from heat, cover, and keep warm until ready to serve.
  • Combine all pancake ingredients in a medium bowl and stir until well blended using a fork or whisk.
  • Preheat griddle over medium-high heat to 375°F. Grease with vegetable oil or cooking spray. Pour 1/4 cup batter for each pancake onto griddle. Cook until edges are dry and bubbles form on top. Flip and cook until golden brown on both sides.
