Decadent chocolate chip cookie sandwich with oatmeal cookie frosting.
Ingredients:
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Chocolate Chip Cookie Mix
  • Ingredients called for on chocolate chip cookie mix pouch
  • 1 pouch (17.5 oz) Betty Crocker™ Oatmeal Cookie Mix
  • Ingredients called for on oatmeal cookie mix pouch
  • 1/2 cup butter, softened
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons whipping cream
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 375°F.
  • Prepare the chocolate chip cookie dough according to the package instructions. Use a tablespoon to scoop out 24 dough balls. Place the dough balls 2 inches apart on 2 ungreased cookie sheets and bake for 8 to 10 minutes until the edges are set. Allow the cookies to cool on a rack.
  • Prepare a 13x9-inch (3-quart) baking dish by generously spraying it with cooking spray. Follow the instructions on the oatmeal cookie dough pouch to prepare the dough, then press it into the baking dish. Bake for approximately 15 minutes until the edges are set. Allow it to cool entirely for about 30 minutes before proceeding.
  • In a medium bowl, use an electric mixer on medium speed to whip together butter, powdered sugar, cream, and vanilla until smooth and fluffy.
  • Crumble half of the oatmeal cookie and add it to the frosting, mixing thoroughly. Save the remaining cookie for later use.
  • Make 12 cookie sandwiches by spreading approximately 1/4 cup of oatmeal cookie frosting between the bottoms of 2 chocolate chip cookies and sandwiching them together.
