Deliciously crispy oatmeal cookies with a buttery flavor.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup unsalted butter
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 3 tablespoons self-rising flour
  • 0.5 cup white sugar
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (180°C) and prepare cookie sheets by lining them with parchment paper.
  • Gently melt the butter on low heat until it's smooth. Transfer it to a bowl and combine with the remaining ingredients, stirring thoroughly until well mixed.
  • Using a teaspoon, place small mounds of dough one inch apart on a parchment paper-lined baking sheet. Bake for 10 to 12 minutes or until they turn a light golden brown. Allow the cookies to cool on a wire rack.
