Ingredients:
  • 2 cups mashed potatoes
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 1 egg
  • 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 cup vegetable oil, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Combine the mashed potatoes, flour, onion, egg, black pepper, and salt in a bowl until a smooth batter forms.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, gently fry 4-inch circles of batter in vegetable oil until golden brown on both sides, approximately 4 to 5 minutes each. Drain on paper towels and continue with any remaining batter.
