Quick and easy homemade ornaments -- bake the dough for fast hardening, perfect for decorating!
Ingredients:
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour, plus more as needed
  • 1.5 cups water
  • 1 cup salt
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a cozy 300°F (150°C).
  • In a large bowl, mix flour, water, and salt until well combined. Knead the dough for 10 minutes.
  • Place the dough on a floured work surface and knead until smooth and elastic.
  • Roll out the dough until it's 1/8 inch thick, then use your favorite cookie cutters to create your desired shapes.
  • Place dough shapes onto a parchment-lined baking sheet; gently pierce each ornament with a toothpick to create a hole for hanging.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes until crispy, then let it cool.
