Crispy oven-baked BBQ chicken legs coated in homemade BBQ sauce for a sticky, juicy, and flavorful meal.
Ingredients:
  • 6 chicken drumsticks
  • 0.33333334326744 cup ketchup
  • 0.33333334326744 cup white vinegar
  • 0.5 cup water, or more to taste
  • 0.25 cup brown sugar
  • 4 teaspoons butter, cut into small chunks
  • 1 teaspoon salt, or to taste
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce, or to taste
  • 2 teaspoons dry mustard
  • 2 teaspoons chili powder, or to taste
Instructions:
  • Gather ingredients, preheat oven to 400°F (200°C), and arrange drumsticks in a 7x11-inch baking dish.
  • Combine ketchup, vinegar, water, brown sugar, butter, salt, Worcestershire sauce, mustard, and chili powder in a bowl. Pour the flavorful mixture over the drumsticks and cover with foil.
  • Roast the chicken in a preheated oven for about 1 hour, turning halfway through, until no longer pink at the bone, with clear juices. Check with an instant-read thermometer near the bone - it should read 165 degrees F (74 degrees C).
  • Enjoy while hot!
