Owl Brownies

Delight loved ones with adorable owl-themed Halloween brownies!
Ingredients:
  • 1 box Betty Crocker™ Fudge Brownie Mix
  • Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on brownie mix box
  • 1 tub (16 oz) Betty Crocker™ Rich & Creamy Chocolate Frosting
  • 48 gummy peach ring candies
  • 48 Betty Crocker™ Candy Shop candy eyeballs
  • 24 pieces candy corn
  • 12 Reese's Minis peanut butter cups (from 8-oz bag), cut in quarters
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 350°F and line a 13x9-inch pan with foil, leaving a 2-inch overhang. Coat the foil with cooking spray. Prepare the brownie batter according to the package instructions and spread it in the pan.
  • Bake for 22-25 minutes until a toothpick inserted 2 inches from the side of the pan comes out clean. Allow to cool completely in the pan on a rack for about 1 hour.
  • Carefully lift the brownies from the pan using the foil. Frost the brownies with the prepared frosting and then cut them into 24 pieces by slicing them into 6 rows by 4 rows with a sharp knife.
  • Decorate each brownie by attaching 2 peach ring candies for eyes and placing 2 candy eyeballs in the centers. Add 1 piece of candy corn for the nose, and finish by placing 2 peanut butter cup quarters, cut side-down, at the top of each brownie for eyebrows.
