Elevate fresh oysters with balsamic, crisp bacon, and zesty lemon for a flavorful, FODMAP-friendly dish.
Ingredients:
  • 2-360.00 gm rock salt
  • 12 (1 dozen) natural oysters (such as Sydney rock oysters), in the half shell
  • 3 tsp balsamic vinegar
  • 1 rindless bacon rasher, finely chopped
  • Lemon wedges, to serve
Instructions:
  • 1. Preheat the grill to medium-high heat, creating the perfect searing environment. 2. Sprinkle an exquisite layer of rock salt on the base of a large heatproof serving dish. 3. Nestle the succulent oysters gently on the bed of rock salt, ensuring a luxurious cooking experience.
  • In a small jug, pour vinegar over the oysters. Top each oyster with bacon. Grill for 5-8 minutes until bacon is golden. Let cool for 2 minutes. Serve with lemon wedges.
