Try this best and easiest Sangria with a surprising twist of basil - guaranteed to impress!
Ingredients:
  • 0.75 cup white sugar
  • 1 cup loosely packed fresh basil leaves
  • 3.5 cups peach nectar
  • 0.25 cup fresh lemon juice
  • 1 (750 milliliter) bottle white wine such as Pinot Grigio
Instructions:
  • Combine sugar, fresh basil leaves, half of the peach nectar, and lemon juice in a saucepan. Simmer until sugar melts, crushing basil leaves to enhance flavor. Remove from heat and let cool.
  • Pour the basil mixture through a strainer into a pitcher packed with ice. Add wine and the rest of the peach nectar. Give it a quick stir and enjoy.
