Try this mouthwatering Pear and Cherry Streusel Pie with Pillsbury™ pie crust for a golden-brown fruit dessert delight!
Ingredients:
  • 1 crust from 1 box (14.1 oz) refrigerated Pillsbury™ Pie Crusts (2 Count), softened as directed on box
  • 1/2 cup pineapple juice
  • 1/2 cup dried cherries
  • 1 tablespoon cornstarch
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger
  • 4 large pears, peeled and sliced (4 cups)
  • 2/3 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1/2 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 400°F. Follow instructions on the box to prepare a pie crust for a one-crust filled pie in a Betty Crocker® stoneware pie pan.
  • Combine pineapple juice, cherries, cornstarch, nutmeg, and ginger in a 2-quart saucepan. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until thickened and boiling. Boil and stir for 1 minute. Remove from heat and gently mix in pears. Transfer the mixture into a pie crust-lined pan.
  • Combine all remaining ingredients in a bowl using a fork until crumbly, then sprinkle over the pear mixture. Cover the edge of the pie crust with a 2- to 3-inch strip of aluminum foil to prevent excessive browning, removing the foil during the last 15 minutes of baking.
  • Bake for approximately 35 minutes, or until the crust and topping turn a beautiful golden brown. Let it cool on a wire rack for at least an hour before serving.
