Irresistible pear, Cheddar, and nut cheese ball appetizer.
Ingredients:
  • 1 (8 ounce) package reduced-fat cream cheese, softened
  • 1.25 cups shredded extra-sharp Cheddar cheese
  • 1 medium firm ripe pear, finely chopped
  • 1 scallion, white and green separated, finely chopped
  • 0.5 teaspoon salt
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground pepper
  • Reynolds KITCHENS® Quick Cut™ Plastic Wrap
  • 0.33333334326744 cup finely chopped toasted pecans
Instructions:
  • Combine the cream cheese, Cheddar cheese, pear, scallion whites, salt, and pepper in a medium bowl and mix well.
  • Grease a big piece of plastic wrap with cooking spray. Pile the cheese mixture onto it. Shape the cheese mixture into a ball with the aid of the plastic wrap, then tightly wrap it with plastic. Chill in the fridge for at least 1 hour or up to 2 days.
  • Combine pecans and reserved scallion greens in a shallow dish. Roll cheese ball in the mixture, pressing gently to coat before serving.
