Transform pears with a luscious blend of butter, sugar, amaretto, and cream for a cozy dessert.
Ingredients:
  • 2 tablespoons butter, softened and divided
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar, divided
  • 2 Bosc pears, halved and cored
  • 0.5 cup heavy whipping cream
  • 1 tablespoon amaretto liqueur
Instructions:
  • Heat the oven to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • Butter a 9-inch baking dish and dust with 1 tablespoon of sugar.
  • Coat pear halves with remaining butter and place cut sides down in the baking dish. Sprinkle the pears with the remaining sugar.
  • Combine the cream and amaretto in a bowl and stir.
  • Place pears in preheated oven for 10 minutes. Pour creamy mixture over the pears and bake until tender, about 15 minutes longer.
