Quick and mouthwatering garlicky pork sandwiches, ready in minutes.
Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup mayonnaise or salad dressing
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 2 cloves garlic, finely chopped
  • 1 lb boneless pork loin chops, cut into thin bite-size strips
  • 1 tablespoon olive or vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon coarsely ground pepper
  • 1 jar (7.25 oz) roasted red bell peppers, drained, sliced
  • 4 pita fold breads (7 inch)
Instructions:
  • Combine creamy mayonnaise, smooth milk, and aromatic garlic in a small bowl; let sit for use later.
  • In a medium bowl, combine pork with oil and pepper. Heat a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the pork for 5 to 6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it's lightly browned and fully cooked. Add bell peppers and heat until warmed through.
  • Follow package instructions to warm pita folds. Gently spread garlic mixture on one side of each pita fold. Top with pork mixture, then fold them up.
