Garden-fresh green pepper dish: Quick, easy, and picky-eater approved!
Ingredients:
  • 2 cups uncooked elbow macaroni
  • 1 pound lean ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, chopped
  • 2 green bell pepper, seeded and chopped
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 (8 ounce) package processed cheese food, cubed
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 0.25 cup milk, or as needed
Instructions:
  • Bring a pot of salted water to a gentle boil. Cook macaroni until tender, approximately 8 minutes. Drain well.
  • In a large skillet, sizzle the ground beef and onion until the meat is no longer pink and the onion is tender. Toss in the bell peppers and cook until they are tender yet vibrant green. Season with salt and pepper, then blend in the cheese, condensed soup, and milk to create a luscious, thick sauce.
  • Stir the macaroni noodles into the mixture off the heat. Serve hot and savor every bite!
