Succulent pork chops coated in a sweet apple cider glaze that transforms into a luscious syrup.
Ingredients:
  • 6 (6 ounce) boneless center-cut pork chops
  • salt and ground black pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 0.25 cup apple cider vinegar
  • 2 cups apple cider
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon minced rosemary
  • 1 pinch red pepper flakes
Instructions:
  • Season the pork chops generously with a pinch of salt and freshly ground black pepper.
  • In a heavy skillet, heat oil and butter over medium-high heat. Sear pork chops until golden brown on both sides, ensuring the pork is slightly pink in the center, about 5-7 minutes per side. Check with an instant-read thermometer for doneness (145°F/63°C). Transfer the cooked pork chops to a plate once done.
  • Sauté garlic in the pan over medium-high heat for 30 seconds. Deglaze the pan with vinegar, then add apple cider and Dijon mustard. Bring to a boil and simmer until sauce thickens, about 3 to 4 minutes. Stir in rosemary and red pepper flakes, season with salt and black pepper as desired.
  • Reheat pork chops in the pan for 1 to 2 minutes on each side.
