Savor these quick skillet pork chops with flavorful tarragon gravy made with beef broth. Ready in just 20 minutes!
Ingredients:
  • 8 boneless center-cut loin pork chops, 1/4 inch thick (1 lb)
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/4 cup Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 cup thinly sliced onion
  • 3/4 cup Progresso™ beef-flavored broth (from 32-oz carton)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh tarragon leaves
Instructions:
  • Season pork chops generously with salt and pepper. Dredge pork in flour. Heat oil in a 12-inch skillet over medium-high heat. Sear 4 pork chops in the hot oil for 1 to 2 minutes per side until golden brown. Transfer to a plate and repeat with the remaining 4 pork chops.
  • - Lower the heat to medium. - Sauté onion in the skillet for 3 minutes until tender. - Pour in broth, scraping the bottom of the pan to incorporate the flavorful brown bits. - Put the pork back into the skillet along with any juices. - Bring to a boil, then simmer. - Cover and cook for 4 minutes until the pork is no longer pink in the center. - Finally, sprinkle in the tarragon and gently mix.
