Indulgent monkey bread with caramel glaze and pecans.
Ingredients:
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 4 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 package (2 lb) frozen bread roll dough
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup chopped pecans
  • 3/4 cup whipping cream
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
Instructions:
  • Prepare a 10-inch angel food (tube) cake pan by spraying it with cooking spray. Combine granulated sugar and 3 teaspoons of cinnamon in a small bowl. Dip each roll in melted butter, then coat with the cinnamon-sugar mixture. Place the rolls in the cake pan, sprinkle with pecans, cover, and refrigerate for at least 8 hours but no more than 18 hours.
  • Preheat oven to 325°F and line a cookie sheet with foil. In a chilled medium bowl, use an electric mixer on high speed to beat the whipping cream until soft peaks form. Add brown sugar and 1 teaspoon cinnamon, then mix well. Pour the whipped cream mixture over the uncovered rolls in a pan placed on the cookie sheet.
  • Bake for 1 hour or until beautifully golden. Allow to cool for 10 minutes. Invert a heatproof serving plate over the pan, flip both over, and remove the pan. Finish by drizzling the bread with any leftover glaze from the pan.
