Delicious pull-apart loaf with onions, blue cheese, and bacon - perfect for cozy fall vibes.
Ingredients:
  • 2 slices bacon
  • 1 onion, chopped (1 cup)
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (2 ounces)
  • 1/2 teaspoon chopped fresh thyme
  • 1/2 (3-lb.) pkg. frozen white roll dough (18 rolls), thawed
  • 1 tablespoons butter, melted
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and line a 5x9-inch loaf pan with parchment paper, letting it hang over the long edges of the pan.
  • Cook bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy, around 8 minutes. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate, keeping 1 tablespoon of drippings in the skillet. Allow the bacon to cool before crumbling.
  • Caramelize onion in bacon drippings over medium-low heat until tender, about 15 minutes. Uncover, cook until golden, about 5 minutes. Add pepper, cool, then mix in bacon, blue cheese, and thyme.
  • Carefully cut each roll into quarters without deflating the dough. Place 1/3 of the dough pieces in the pan and layer with 1/3 of the onion mixture. Repeat twice more, ending with the onion mixture. Drizzle melted butter on top.
  • Bake in the preheated oven until golden brown, about 45 minutes. Check the internal temperature with an instant-read thermometer, it should read 190°F to 200°F (87°C to 93°C). Let cool in the pan for 5 minutes, then gently lift the loaf using the parchment overhang. Serve warm.
