Savory pull-apart breakfast bread: A delicious twist on traditional morning treats.
Ingredients:
  • 3 (10 ounce) cans refrigerated biscuit dough (such as Pillsbury Grands!®)
  • 1 pound ground breakfast sausage
  • 1 (4.5 ounce) can diced green chiles, drained
  • 1.5 cups grated Colby-Jack cheese
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to a toasty 350°F (175°C).
  • In a large skillet over medium-high heat, brown and crumble the sausage, stirring occasionally, for 5 to 7 minutes. Discard grease and let it cool completely.
  • Take the biscuits and gently tear them into quarters.
  • Combine biscuit pieces, sausage, green chiles, and Colby-Jack cheese in a large bowl, then transfer mixture into a fluted tube pan, gently pressing down to remove any air pockets.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for 30 to 35 minutes, tenting with foil if the top starts to brown too fast.
  • Take the bread out of the oven and allow it to rest for about 5 minutes before gently transferring it onto a serving plate. Let it sit for an additional 5 minutes before slicing.
