Pumpkin butter spread is a crowd-pleaser on muffins and bread for family gatherings and holidays.
Ingredients:
  • 1.75 cups solid pack pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup applesauce
  • 0.75 cup apple juice
  • 0.5 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Instructions:
  • Combine solid pack pumpkin puree, applesauce, apple juice, brown sugar, and pumpkin pie spice in a saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil, then simmer for about 1 1/2 hours. Chill in the refrigerator in sterile containers before serving.
