Whip up these pumpkin chocolate chip scones in just 35 minutes, finished with a delicious cidery glaze - the ultimate taste of autumn!
Ingredients:
  • 1/3 cup butter, softened
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 1/2 cups Original Bisquick™ mix
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie mix)
  • 1/2 cup semisweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons whipping cream, if desired
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar, if desired
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to 425°F and prepare a cookie sheet by spraying it with cooking spray or lining it with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, cream together butter and 1/2 cup of granulated sugar using an electric mixer on low speed or mix with a spoon. Mix in Bisquick mix, pumpkin pie spice, and pumpkin until well combined. Gently fold in chocolate chips.
  • Shape the dough into a 1- to 1-1/2-inch-thick round on a surface dusted with Bisquick mix. Cut it into 8 wedges and place them on a cookie sheet. Brush the wedges with whipping cream and sprinkle evenly with 1 tablespoon of granulated sugar.
  • Bake until beautifully golden brown, then transfer to a cooling rack.
  • Combine powdered sugar and apple cider in a small bowl until a smooth glaze forms. Drizzle the glaze over scones using a fork and serve warm.
