Instant Pot® shortcut makes canned baked beans gourmet with pork, bacon, and seasonings in half the time.
Ingredients:
  • 8 slices bacon, chopped
  • 2 (15 ounce) cans baked beans with pork
  • 0.5 cup ketchup
  • 6 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 0.5 teaspoon dry mustard powder
Instructions:
  • Preheat your Instant Pot® by selecting the Saute function. Cook bacon until perfectly crisp, about 6 minutes. Transfer the bacon to a paper towel-lined baking sheet to drain excess grease.
  • Drain some liquid from the beans, leaving an inch at the top, and keep some liquid. Combine beans, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, and bacon in the Instant Pot®. Secure the lid and set to high pressure for 3 minutes following the manufacturer's instructions. It will take 10 to 15 minutes for the pressure to build up.
  • Carefully release pressure using the quick-release method following the manufacturer's instructions, then unlock and remove the lid after about 5 minutes.
