Whip up a delicious raisin sauce to elevate your holiday ham!
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup packed light brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dry mustard powder
  • 1.25 cups water
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 1 cup dark raisins
Instructions:
  • In a 1-quart saucepan, gently warm brown sugar, cornstarch, and dry mustard over medium heat, stirring until the sugar dissolves, which should take about 3 to 5 minutes.
  • Slowly combine the water and lemon juice into the brown sugar mixture, stirring gently.
  • Add plump, sweet raisins to the mix and simmer gently, stirring continuously, for approximately 5 minutes until it reaches a boil.
