Protein-packed baked beans with beef and kidney beans, great for parties or quick meals.
Ingredients:
  • cooking spray
  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 2 cups chopped onion
  • 2 (16 ounce) cans pork and beans
  • 1 (16 ounce) can kidney beans, drained
  • 1 cup ketchup
  • 0.75 cup brown sugar
  • 2 tablespoons mustard
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon salt
Instructions:
  • Heat your oven to a toasty 350 degrees F (175 degrees C) and generously spray a casserole dish with cooking spray.
  • In a skillet over medium heat, sauté the ground beef and onion until the beef is browned and the onions are translucent, about 10 to 15 minutes. Be sure to drain well before using.
  • Combine the pork and beans, kidney beans, ketchup, brown sugar, mustard, vinegar, and salt in a large bowl. Mix in the hamburger mixture. Transfer everything to a casserole dish. Bon appétit!
  • Place in the oven and bake until bubbly, approximately 45 minutes.
