Indulge in delicious raspberry hazelnut crumb bars for a perfect sweet treat!
Ingredients:
  • 2 1/2 cups Gold Medal™ all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups quick-cooking oats
  • 1 1/2 cups packed brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup finely chopped hazelnuts (filberts) or pecans
  • 1/4 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 1/2 cups butter or margarine, melted
  • 1 can (21 oz) raspberry pie filling
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
Instructions:
  • Preheat the oven to 350°F (or 325°F for a dark or nonstick pan). Combine flour, oats, brown sugar, hazelnuts, and baking soda in a large bowl. Use a pastry blender or two knives to mix them together. Add the butter and stir until well combined.
  • Set aside 2 cups of the oat mixture for the topping. Press the remaining oat mixture firmly onto the bottom of an ungreased 15x10x1-inch pan. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes until the crust starts to turn golden brown.
  • Evenly spread the delicious pie filling over the warm, golden crust. Mix the cinnamon into the remaining oat mixture. Sprinkle the oat mixture generously over the filling and gently press it down.
  • Bake for 20 to 25 minutes until the top turns a rich golden brown. Allow to cool completely in the pan on a wire rack for approximately 30 minutes. Cut into bars by slicing into 8 rows by 6 rows.
