Make restaurant-quality Buffalo chicken wings at home with this simple recipe.
Ingredients:
  • 0.5 cup all-purpose flour
  • 0.25 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 0.25 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 0.25 teaspoon salt
  • 10 chicken wings
  • 2 cups vegetable oil for frying, or as needed
  • 0.25 cup butter
  • 0.25 cup hot sauce
  • 1 pinch ground black pepper
  • 1 pinch garlic powder
Instructions:
  • In a spacious bowl, combine flour, paprika, cayenne pepper, and salt, and whisk together.
  • Coat the chicken wings evenly in the flour mixture in a bowl. Then, transfer the wings to a 9x13-inch glass baking dish, arranging them in a single layer. Cover and refrigerate for 1 to 1 1/2 hours.
  • Heat just enough oil to cover the wings entirely in a deep, heavy skillet to 375 degrees F (190 degrees C).
  • In a small saucepan over low heat, melt butter with hot sauce, pepper, and garlic powder. Stir until smooth and well combined. Set aside for serving.
  • Fry the coated wings in hot oil until crispy and golden brown, about 10 to 15 minutes. Keep the oil temperature consistent. Drain the cooked wings on paper towels or a wire rack after removing from the oil.
  • Place the wings on a serving platter and generously drizzle hot sauce over them, ensuring they are evenly coated for maximum flavor.
