Green beans roasted with olive oil, salt, and pepper until caramelized for a deliciously nutty taste.
Ingredients:
  • 2 pounds fresh green beans, trimmed
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil, or as needed
  • 1 teaspoon kosher salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
Instructions:
  • Collect all the ingredients needed and preheat the oven to 400 degrees F (200 degrees C).
  • Rinse and dry green beans, then place on a baking sheet. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and pepper, and toss to coat evenly. Arrange in a single layer on the sheet.
  • Roast in the preheated oven for 15 to 25 minutes until the beans are crisp-tender, slightly shriveled, and develop golden caramelized spots.
