Tender round steak seared and braised in creamy mushroom and French onion soups, served with flavorful gravy over creamy mashed potatoes.
Ingredients:
  • 1.5 pounds thin cut round steak
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1 (10.5 ounce) can condensed French onion soup
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can water
Instructions:
  • Preheat your oven to a toasty 325 degrees F (165 degrees C).
  • Trim the decadent marbling from the succulent steak, then slice into mouthwatering portions.
  • Sear the steak on both sides in a roasting pan over medium-high heat for about 1 minute each.
  • Combine the cream of mushroom soup, French onion soup, and water in the roaster dish. Bake in the preheated oven for 2 1/2 hours.
